The Institute
CIHE offers diploma and professional programmes in media, computing, business and legal studies. The academic year, assessment culture and student records are organised so that, when university status is granted, each field can stand as its own faculty with its own site.
The motto පඥ්ඤාය විරෝචති — Wisdom shines — sits at the centre of the institute seal, with the lamp of learning over an open book and the lotus of Sri Lanka.
Mission
To teach rigorously, assess fairly, and keep students close to the industries and public institutions that will employ them.
Campus
The institute is at No. 128/2B, High Level Road, Kottawa — lecture rooms, a media studio, a computing laboratory and student support on one site.
